Booking Process

  1. Call us & finalize your group size (no. of people), check in & check out timings, final tariff & get information about advance payment to be deposited/transferred
  2. Advance payment should be deposited / transferred within 24 hrs from the verbal communication of booking confirmation.
  3. For booking confirmation guests have to deposit 50% of total payment to our account. Account details will be sent through mail/SMS.
  4. Intimate us as soon as transfer/deposit is made. Booking confirmation will be made through mail/SMS as soon as we receive the amount.


 Mallandur offers well furnished and spacious rooms in the beautiful main bungalow. Every room has a king size bed and an attached luxury bathroom. This Chikmagalur homestay has a separate cottage with two well-furnished spacious bed rooms and attached luxury bathrooms to accommodate large groups of guests.


 The guests are treated to South Indian and continental breakfast. Authentic Malnad cuisine prepared in the traditional style is provided for lunch and dinner. At this Chikmagalur homestay food is prepared by expert cooks who take care to prepare tasty as well as healthy dishes.
Mallandur takes tremendous pleasure in offering its guests a selection of lip smacking cuisine. From authentic Malnad delicacies like Akki Rotti and Koli Saaru, Kadubu and Shavige to thatte idlis served with coconut chutney; breakfasts, lunches and dinners make for a gastronomic celebration!
The number of dishes is quite something, except that we choose to tell you only about the unique stuff on the menu!
In no particular order, allow us to let you in on what you can expect at meal times.
Dosas and rave uppitt, bread, butter and jam, lemon rice and jeera rice, plain rice and dal, chicken curry and eggs, palyas made from the fresh vegetables, salads, hot sambar made of assorted veggies and garnished with the most aromatic of spices, plain rasam and papads, bowls of refreshing curd, pickles to tickle your palate, the list goes on. Hot gulab jamoons make for a soothing dessert at the end of the feast!
